CUTENESS

I bought the sweetest clothes pegs last week.  They almost make hanging laundry out a treat...almost.

How cute are these?

and these?

(The quilt Emily made for her new niece. It has the softest pink fabric on the back.)

(a quilt I made that somebody wanted me to post so they could pin it on Pinterest) Pin away E.

(Not as funny as I thought it would be.)

SPRING HAS SPRUNG

It was a gorgeous ten degrees celsius today, a far cry from the winter snow storm we had just a week ago.  Yesterday was almost as nice.  It has gotten me excited for summer which is surely just around the corner... right?...right?
In anticipation of summer's arrival,  I have just finished sewing a couple of little summer dresses for my two youngest granddaughters.  They are so cute and even though they are very similar, believe it or not not one piece of the same material is used in the other.  I am not sure which one I like best.

I think that my little model makes the dresses extra cute and  the little headband makes her little bald head even cuter than it already is.

A RARE SIGHT

We see it all the time, a little gap toothed grin from the cutest little girl I know but as soon as the camera comes out, it disappears.  The only trick we know is to hang her upside down by one leg.  It works like a charm and ensures a happy face but there is always a fear in the back of my mind that someone is going to place a call to  CAS (child welfare services).

I pulled the camera out the other day and again the smile disappeared and was replaced with the usual indifferent look.

Then all of a sudden... voila....a real honest to goodness smile.

AWESOME!!!!!!
